This year the Show was held on Saturday 3rd August. We hosted the Scottish National Ryeland Show and there were classes for Shetland Sheep.

Entertainment included Jez Avery, the return of The Sheep Show, Daffy Dill, a vintage machinery display, face painting, the band Disfunctional and Dumfries & Stewartry Foxhounds.

Cattle exhibitors – TB & BVD forms MUST be returned to the Secretary by 6pm on the Wednesday prior to the Show (31st July). The forms are available in the entry form section.
Sheep exhibitors – The Suffolk Society will supply rosettes for the Male Champion and Female Champion for the highest placed Scottish male and female.
The Sheep Young Handlers is a qualifier for the South West of Scotland Champion Young Handlers at Eskdale Agricultural Show on 28th September 2019.
Mr Robert McKie, Castle Douglas will be judging the Bluefaced Leicester Crossing Type section.
Cattle Exhibitors – The Aberdeen Angus and Any Other Beef Breed judge is now Mr J W Ford, Kelso
TRADE STAND EXHIBITORS – For health and safety please make sure there is no tripping hazard at the entrance doors. If you have flooring there must be a sloping wedge to make sure no one can trip on it.

The minimum charge for a stand up to 4.5m x 9m is £100.00
Our catering is franchised and there are no spaces available.
