Only unaffiliated show jumping entries can be accepted on the day. All other livestock entries must be submitted by 1 July 2019.
A receipt will be sent when entries are received. If you do not receive a receipt please contact the secretary.
This will be posted to you prior to the show with your instructions and tickets.
Livestock exhibitors can leave after the grand parade at 2.15pm.
Prize money can be collected from the secretary’s office on the day for all sections except dairy. Horse prize money can not be collected until after 3pm. Prize money will only be issued on the presentation of the prize money card given out by the stewards.
They can be brought to the Green Shed between 4pm and 9pm on Thursday 1 August 2019 or between 8am and 10am on Friday 2 August 2019. Walking stick exhibits can be brought between 8am and 10am on Saturday.
Exhibits can be collected from the Green Shed between 4.30pm and 5pm on Saturday.
Prize money can be collected in the Green Shed between 2pm and 4.30pm on Saturday.
Dumfries Show was held on Saturday 3rd August 2019. The Show included the Scottish Ryeland Group show. Entertainment included Jez Avery Stunt Team, The Sheep Show, Young Farmers Tug O’ War, a gymnastics display, Dumfries & Stewartry Foxhounds, the band Disfunctional and a vintage machinery display.

Details of the 2020 Show will appear here when they are available. The Show will be on Saturday 1st August from 9am to 5pm.
The Home and Garden Arts Schedule is now available. This includes classes for walking sticks. Paper copies will be available in January.
