Only unaffiliated show jumping entries can be accepted on the day. All other livestock entries must be submitted by 4 July 2016.
A receipt will be sent when entries are received. If you do not receive a receipt please contact the secretary.
This will be posted to you prior to the show with your instructions and tickets.
Livestock exhibitors can leave after the grand parade at 2.15pm.
Prize money can be collected from the secretary’s office on the day for all sections except dairy. Horse prize money can not be collected until after 3pm. Prize money will only be issued on the presentation of the prize money card given out by the stewards.
They can be brought to the Green Shed between 4pm and 9pm on Thursday 4 August 2016 or between 8am and 10am on Friday 5 August 2016. Walking stick exhibits can be brought between 8am and 10am on Saturday.
Exhibits can be collected from the Green Shed between 4.30pm and 5pm on Saturday.
Prize money can be collected in the Green Shed between 2pm and 4.30pm on Saturday.

Entries for cattle, horses, ponies, Clydesdales, sheep and goats are now closed. There is still time to enter home and garden arts, walking sticks and show jumping. The schedules can be found below.
Dumfries Show will be held on 5th August 2017. This year we are pleased to be hosting the Scottish Limousin Club Grand Prix and Anglo-Irish Final.
Entertainment for this year will include James Dylan’s Stuntworld Motorcycle Stunt Show, vintage machinery, Daffy Dill and Douglas the Clown, Dumfries Pipe Band, Disfunctional, a dog scurry, the Young Farmers Tug O’ War and a display by the foxhounds.
