This year the Show is including the Galloway Cattle World Congress. Thank you to Catherine MacGregor for the photo of the Galloway cow.
There will be a dog scurry, chain saw carver, a parade of Ferguson tractors through the years and Young Farmers Tug O’ War. Thank you to Tom Telfer for the picture of the Ferguson tractor.
The Galloway Gundogs will be having a dog scurry. Bring your dog along and see how quickly it can collect a dummy and bring it back to you.

Entries cannot be accepted on line. They must be on a official entry form and accompanied by the entry fee. Cheques should be made payable to Dumfries & Lockerbie Agricultural Society. The judge for the Prime Cattle and Commercial Cattle is Mr Steven Priestley, Cracrop, Brampton.
The Show Jumping Schedule is available below. An entry form is only required for the British Show Jumping on Saturday 6th August 2016. Entries will be taken on the day for the unaffiliated show jumping (5th August 2016).
Please note that there is no Young Handlers Championship Final for the sheep at Langholm Show so the classes will not be qualifiers.

Trade stands can be set up from the Thursday before the show and must be set up by 9.30am on Saturday.
The hours of trading are 9am to 5pm.
